Mandolins in Brisbane (MIB) is Queensland's
foremost mandolin and guitar ensemble. It comprises of a
group of enthusiastic players of mandolins, mandolas, guitars
and double bass and is conducted by Allan Hall or Nathan
Aspinall.
Founded in Brisbane,
Queensland, Australia
in 1998, MIB plays a varied repertoire from renaissance
to contemporary. MIB not only continues the well-established
traditions of Italian mandolin music, but also performs
classical, folk-inspired and popular music from all the
continents of the world.
MIB has produced
two CDs that have been well received by listeners. You are
